The BV series Butterfly Valve is suited for both isolation and control purposes.
The light weight and compact design reduces installation, storage and transport costs.
The valves can be installed at any selected position.
The centrally mounted disc and hydrodynamic design minimize pressure loss.
Gaskets are not required for installation. A tight seal is achieved in both directions.
- All operator flanges conform to ISO 5211 standard and are ready for the installation of manual, pneumatic or electric actuators.
- The taper pin ensures a reliable connection from the shaft to the disc and is vibration proof. It also prevents inadvertent shaft removal when attaching actuators or undertaking maintenance procedures.
- The height of the valve neck is long enough to provide complete insulation.
- The phenolic backed rubber seat is non-collapsible, stretch resistant, blowout proof, and replacable.
- Precision machining of the disc ensures low-operating torque and effective sealing, up to a maximum working pressure of 200 P.S.I. The hydrodynamic design of the disc allows for high capacity flow.
- The valve body is precision machined, so that the seat can be accurately positioned with the shaft and the disc to ensure minimal wear producing a reliable service life.
- The shaft design with support bushings provides optimal guidance, shaft alignment, and actuator support.
